Game Change by John Heilemann & Mark Halperin
Heilemann of New York magazine and Halperin of Time magazine collaborated for a behind he scenes look at the 2008 Presidential campaign. Unlike most non-fiction works this is a swift and difficult to put down read. To a political junkie this is the entertainment of tabloid journalism with one important difference – credibility. Time continues to prove many of their “juicy tidbits” to be correct. As a progressive I can only hope that their theory that the 2008 election was transformative also proves correct.
